Trauma Sensitive Yoga is a specialised approach to yoga that acknowledges and respects the unique needs of individuals who have experienced trauma, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. During focused and dedicated 1:2:1 sessions conducted in a safe and trusting environment the goal of the practice is to focus on the individual’s experience rather than the technique.

Participants are invited to notice, and to be curious about what is happening in their body (the felt sense) and to make choices about how they move and participate, informed by this felt sense. This approach cultivates personal agency, self-awareness and perhaps over time feelings of ease.
